Founded by the Coultet
family in 1840, the hotel has recently been
extensively renovated and is once again at the
forefront of Alpine luxury right in the heart of
Chamonix
overlooking the main square. Ideally located beside the
ski bus stop, and the ski school meeting place. A
traditional 19th century hotel with spacious rooms.
The reception area, sitting room and bar, the sitting
room are comfortably furnished. The service is
impeccable as is attention to detail and the present
owners could not be more welcoming and
friendly. 30 comfortable rooms offering views
of either the Mont Blanc or Brévant – the Mont
Blanc rooms tend to be quieter as they overlook the
river rather than the main square. Attractive
terraced lounge bar with beautiful views of the Mont
Blanc and surrounding mountains where complimentary
afternoon tea with cakes and snacks is served after a
hard days skiing. Other amenities include an
indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, massages as
well as a country house style library rich in antique
literature.
