Sunstar Hotel

A modern luxury hotel situated almost opposite the First Gondola. The resort ski-bus stops in front of the hotel and takes skiers to the station / cable car. It is 3 minutes walk to the centre of Grindelwald town, 5 minutes to the station.

A pleasant view on entrance is the hotels large, light and airy lobby/sitting room with open fireplace and bar, leading on to a lovely terrace. 165 rooms and 35 apartments, with balconies with panoramic views of the Eiger range from many of them. Rooms are in a rustic style with 4-star comfort. The hotel has an excellent a la carte restaurant Adler Stube. Pianist nightly in the lobby. 

New wellness centre offers many wonderful facilities: Large indoor swimming pool (15x9m) with its own sun terrace, steam bath, gym, roman bath, dry bath, sweat bath, eucalyptus steam bath, blossom steam bath, outdoor Finnish sauna, whirlpools and massage showers. Lovely relaxation room with free fresh fruit, tea, mineral water and a wonderful mountain view. Massages, body packs and cosmetic services can all be arranged at the hotel.

Room and breakfast or half board. All 4* Sunstar hotels now offer free mineral water, juice, soft drinks and beer from the mini-bar.
