Set in its own grounds, this modern, comfortable hotel is situated just above the centre of Davos Platz, and a 10-minute walk from the main Jakobshorn ski lift. The hotel has its own ski shuttle bus every 20mins from the hotel in the mornings and at the end of the day’s skiing. The resort bus stop is also 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

The hotel is under family management. The Zurcher family are attentive and friendly organising a weekly programme of events. Like many hotels in Davos the Sunstar does not have a beautiful exterior but it has a lovely Swiss style interior with 214 comfortable rooms

Cosy bar with open fireplace with piano player in the evenings. Spacious lounge. 2 a la carte restaurants: the Rotisserie offers International and Swiss dishes whilst the Fonduestubli specialises in local cheeses.

State of the Art Wellness Centre including a large indoor swimming pool and steam bath at no extra charge. Supplements payable for use of the outdoor Finnish sauna, whirlpools and massage showers and gym. Lovely relaxation room with free fresh fruit, tea, mineral water and mountain view. Massages, body packs and cosmetic services can all be arranged at the hotel.
