European airport transfers

Car hire waiting for you on arrival with optional ski rack, snow tyres or chains. This often allows the shortest transfer time; comparable to a private taxi but without the expense. In some resorts a car is a bonus for visiting neighbouring resorts or for going out in the evening.

Private taxi or minibus. Superbly convenient and avoids any trouble or delay at the airport and with parking.  Generally more expensive.

Rail. The popular choice for Swiss resorts with the option of having your luggage delivered to and from your hotel.

European rail - Eurostar

From London St Pancras to Moutiers or Bourg St Maurice.  There is then only a short 30-minute transfer to resorts such as Val d’Isere, Les Arcs, Courchevel 1850 and Meribel.

Direct overnight – out Friday night and back Saturday night. An excellent option to give skiing on both Saturdays, thus 8 days instead of 6.  Sitting up but with quality seats and the option to upgrade to first class with dinner included.

Direct by day. Saturdays only. A good solution to avoid the waiting time at airports and gets you to your resort by the early evening rested and relaxed.

Via Paris overnight. Daily Eurostar to Paris connecting to an overnight couchette (except Sundays). This gives the same extra skiing benefits as the direct overnight service, avoids sitting up all night.
