Converted from an Alpine farmhouse and mountain hut, this authentic mountain chalet retains its charm and character with lots of pine panelling and pretty wallpaper. This hotel is highly recommended as it is a member of the ‘Hotels Chalets de Tradition’. Chalet Mounier is located at the edge of Les Deux Alpes, but close to the Diable gondola, with nursery slopes and ski school within a minute’s walk.
Monsieur Mounier is the chef and the food is consequently delicious. Dining room, à la carte restaurant with Michelin star accolade, sitting room with open fire and a delightful cosy bar. 48 bedrooms of 4 different types, all with bath/WC, some with fabulous views of the Ecrins National Park. Swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath, solarium, massage (suppl) fitness room with Jacuzzi.
