New Zealand delights the senses from the warmth of the bubbling thermal pools of Rotorua to the hidden depths of the fjords and the breathtaking views of the snow capped mountain of the south Island. Known as the adventure capital of the world, it offers white water rafting, skiing, sailing, helicopter tours and whale watching. The people are friendly, the country is safe and the food and the wine are sublime. Stay in one of the fabulous lodges such as the Huka Lodge or one of the more reasonably priced bed and breakfast farm stays. Given the distance on has to travel to reach New Zealand, this country invites a long stay of 2 to 3 weeks and complicated itineraries exploring the natural wonders are one of our favourite pastimes.
