In an excellent location, slightly set back from the main street, almost next to the Parsenn railway and the ski school meeting place in Davos Dorf. Buses for the nursery slopes depart from nearby the hotel. The exterior is classic in the grand style - this was a former sanatorium and has a history of offering hospitality for over 700 years. The interior is large, spacious and luxurious throughout having been recently renovated. There is an abundance of carved pine in the public rooms, rich carpets and brass fittings. 3 different restaurants include the traditional pine-clad restaurant “Palais Winter Garden”, the elegant dining room “Arven Stubli” and the Paulaner's Inn with beer garden in the arched vaults of the cellar.

The standard "classic" rooms are at the back of the hotel and have no view. Superior rooms partly have a view. Luxurious suites are also available. Bed & Breakfast or Half board.
