Hotel Silberhorn

The Silberhorn is just a minute's walk from the railway to the Kleine Scheidegg ski area, the post office, tourist office and main street shops as well as the skating and curling rink, beginners' ski-lift and ski school meeting point.

70 double and single rooms of varying descriptions most of which have been refurbished over the past 15 years. Each measures a minimum of 30 square metres, has a bath or shower/wc, hairdryer, room safe, mini-bar and TV with approx. 30 channels. Some beautiful 2 room family suites decorated with light pine, but only on a half board basis.

The Silberhorn will prepare on request special children's meals, which can also be served outside normal meal times.

The hotel has a sitting room and a dining room for hotel guests. Dinner is served for hotel guests from 7 pm to 9 pm and consists of 5 courses, with a choice of three main dishes. A different vegetarian dish every day. At least once a week the hotel serves a buffet, and a 5-course gala dinner is served on Sunday evenings. The "Silberhornstube" offers Swiss specialities raclette and fondue.

The Silberhorn has three bars, each with their own special atmosphere. There's the bar in the foyer with its open fire where guests meet for an aperitif; the lively "Tiffany", where the young and young-at-heart have fun in the disco until far into the night; and the rustic "Club Anonym" where people can sit and chat without having to shout to make themselves heard. The hotel is particularly proud of its select Bordeaux wines. The hotel’s dining areas and entertainment facilities are well away from the rooms and soundproofed to ensure guests get an undisturbed night's sleep.

After a hard day's skiing, the Hotel Silberhorn's wellness facilities - sauna and solarium - are an ideal tonic. And those who like to take it really easy can sun themselves on the sun terrace where coffee and cake are served in fine weather.
